At Kaizer you totally feel like a ‘Kaizer’ in all sense. The rooftop seating makes the place really beautiful, they have sitting arrangements of various types to give you the most comfortable and romantic experience. This place is perfect for a candle light dinner or to be enjoyed with all your pals.
The place has dim light, bamboo sticks and nice roped candle Chandelier. Located on the always busy new link road at a distance of about 950 meters from the DN Nagar metro station; is easy to locate.
After settling down, we called for some mocktails: Berry Blast: A perfect blend of Strawberry, Black-current and lime juice all added into the crushed ice. The same mixture is frozen in a ball, added and served in a salt-rimmed glass. Highly recommended.
Sizzling Murg Platter: We had called for a tasting portion and thus tried Murg Malai Kebab, Murg Banjaara Kebab and Murg Pudina Kebab: The chicken platter had tender juicy chicken, perfectly marinated in Indian spices. All the 3 kebabs were scrumptious and can be ordered without a thought, I loved Banjaara the most from the lot.
Lucknowi Mutton Kebab Platter: In the tasting portion we had got Galouti Kebab, Shami Kebab and Chapli Kebab: The mutton kebabs have finely minced mutton, cooked thoroughly in the spices. The kebabs melt in your mouth, giving amazing flavours. I loved Galouti kebab the most from the lot.
Sizzling Sea Food Platter: In the tasting portion we tried Tandoori Jhinga Kebab and Maahi Kebab: The prawns were a little tough, small pieces and the Maahi kebab is the basa fish (Pangasius bocourti) boneless and served like a kebab. Order if you’re a seafood fan only, else their mutton and chicken platter are any time more preferred.
For the mains we tried; Murg Lazeez: Medium sized boneless pieces of chicken leg is served in a medium thick cashew nut and onion gravy, goes well with thin crispy Sheer Maal.
Mutton Nihari: Boneless tender lamb is slow cooked in organic lucknowi spices and mustard oil. It goes well with Kulcha Lucknowi: double layered soft and crispy bread cooked in tandoor.
We ended our dinner with Shaahi Tukda: The base is of Lucknowi bread pudding garnished with dry fruits. The bread was little stiff and over-all was ok.
In Sheesha, we had my favorite, Pan Rasna; The sheesha was smooth, perfectly made and the staff was attentive and checked the koyla’s at fix intervals; giving you a seamless experience. Definitely a place you can visit any time, any day and any number of times.
